Visakhapatnam, July 28 -- South Coast Railway (SCoR) General Manager Sandeep Mathur on Tuesday presented Safety Awards to four railway employees for their exceptional alertness and timely action in preventing potential accidents and ensuring safe train operations.
The awards, the first to be presented by the General Manager since the formation of the South Coast Railway Zone, recognised employees whose vigilance helped avert mishaps and strengthen operational safety.
Speaking on the occasion, Mathur said the alertness of frontline railway staff plays a vital role in identifying potential safety hazards at an early stage and taking timely corrective action.
