Kolkata, June 28 -- Former India captain and Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) president Sourav Ganguly has disclosed that his upcoming biopic, starring Rajkummar Rao as the cricketing icon, will now be released in April rather than December 2026, as previously speculated.

"The film will actually be released in April. About 75 per cent of the shooting has already been completed. The remaining 25 per cent will be shot in England. We are likely to shoot at Lord's, The Oval and Yorkshire in July. After that, post-production will take quite some time. So the release has been pushed to April," revealed Ganguly.
