Chennai, June 28 -- "Nutrition is the best vaccine", was the message shared by internationally acclaimed public health expert Dr.Soumya Swaminathan, who was honoured by Super Chennai as its Icon of the Month.
Dr Soumya, who is the Chairperson of M.S.Swaminathan Research Foundation and daughter of late scientist M S Swaminathan, reflected on how Chennai shaped her journey from a young researcher to one of the world's most influential voices in global health, during an engaging edition of Super Chennai's Arattai series, held at MSSRF here last evening.
