Sydney, May 13 -- Allaying the fears surrounding her fitness, bowling all-rounder Sophie Molineux was named the skipper in Australia's quest for a seventh ICC Women's T20 WorldCup title.

Speaking to reporters after the squad announcement, the Australia captain was delighted to be leading in her very first T20 World Cup.

"I'm excited, really excited. This World Cup has been on our minds for a long time. And it feels like it's just around the corner. We've all gotten around this week, and are trying to build some momentum. I suppose leading in a World Cup for the first-ever time.
