Pune, Sept. 6 -- Govind Komkar, the son of Ganesh Komkar the prime accused in the murder of Vanraj Andekar, was shot dead in broad daylight today in Pune's Nana Peth area, police said.

According to police, unidentified assailants opened fire at Govind, shooting him thrice, causing his immediate death.
