Mumbai, Nov. 17 -- Shiv Sena (UBT) Chief Uddhav Thackeray and his paternal cousin, Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) Chief Raj Thackeray, on Monday paid tributes to Balasaheb Thackeray, the Shiv Sena founder, on his 13th death anniversary. The solemn function was held at the memorial Shiv Tirth in Shivaji Park area of central Mumbai.
Among those present were family members Rashmi and Aaditya Thackeray, wife and son of Uddhav Thackeray.
Sena (UBT) MP and party's spokesperson Sanjay Raut also came to the memorial to pay homage. Raut, a key face of the UBT Sena, had earlier announced that he would be staying away from public life for a few months due to persistent health concerns.
