New Delhi, March 3 -- Delhi Social Welfare Minister Ravindra Indraj Singh on Tuesday celebrated Holi with specially abled children at Asha Kiran Home in Rohini.
Sharing colours and festive sweets with the children, the Minister interacted with them and enquired about their well-being. "Holi is not just a festival of colours, but a symbol of inclusion, belongingness and social harmony," he said, adding that he has consistently celebrated Diwali, Raksha Bandhan and even his birthday with divyang children and senior citizens residing in care institutions.
Singh claimed that the Delhi Government is working towards holistic development, better care, rehabilitation and self-reliance of divyang and specially-abled children.
