Bhubaneswar, Aug. 6 -- SOA Deemed to be University has organised a series of farmer awareness programmes across 11 adopted villages in Khordha district to promote scientific farming practices and strengthen the link between agricultural research and field-level adoption.
The programmes, conducted by the Institute of Agricultural Sciences (IAS) under the Rural Agricultural Work Experience (RAWE) programme from July 30 to August 6, covered villages in the Bhubaneswar, Jatni and Balianta blocks. The initiative aimed to disseminate scientific agricultural knowledge, encourage sustainable farming practices and bridge the gap between agricultural education and rural communities.
