Agartala, June 5 -- union Home Minister Amit Shah declared on Friday that the Smart Border project designed to enhance security along India's borders is close to completion.
Addressing BSF personnel at Lankamura Border Outpost (BOP) in Agartala, he said the necessary infrastructure was almost fully in place.
"Our approach involves a thorough four-pronged security plan, which incorporates local government participation, the use of technology, and the deployment of personnel to strengthen our borders against potential threats," he said.
