Shimla, March 9 -- Public sector hydropower major SJVN Limited has achieved a significant milestone as its flagship Nathpa Jhakri Hydro Power Station crossed 150 billion units (BU) of cumulative electricity generation, reaffirming its position as one of India's most important clean energy assets and a key contributor to the northern power grid.
The achievement was celebrated during a programme at the project's powerhouse in the presence of SJVN Chairman and Managing Director Bhupender Gupta, Director (Personnel) Ajay Kumar Sharma and other senior officials.
