Mumbai, May 27 -- The Mumbai Crime Branch has arrested six persons allegedly linked to various online mobile loan applications for reportedly threatening and harassing a bank employee and his family in connection with loan recovery. The accused were produced before the Metropolitan Magistrate Court at Esplanade, which remanded them to police custody till May 30.
The arrested accused have been identified as Narayan Gorivale (28), Pandurang Jadhav (49), Sukhdev Thorat (28), Chandkant Waghare (27), Madanlal Jaiswal (28) and Valmiki Genalal Gupta (21). They were apprehended by Crime Branch Unit 2 on Monday night following a complaint lodged by Akshay Singh (37), who is employed with a bank.
