New Delhi, July 13 -- Six of the seven forward-looking cyber threat predictions made in last year's Digital Threat Report have already become a reality, highlighting how the gap between the emergence of new cyber threats and their exploitation has shrunk from years to months or even weeks, according to the second edition of the Digital Threat Report 2025-26 released on Monday.

The report, jointly released by the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY), the Indian Computer Emergency Response Team (CERT-In), the Computer Security Incident Response Team in Finance (CSIRT-Fin), and cybersecurity firm SISA, assesses the evolving cyber risk landscape for the banking, financial services, insurance (BFSI), and digital payments e...
