Jamui, May 26 -- Six people, including a Station House Officer (SHO), were injured after a police vehicle overturned on the Jamui-Sikandra main road near Chaudiha here this afternoon.
According to police, the accident took place when the speeding police Bolero lost control while trying to avoid a goat crossing the road.
The injured include the SHO of Kasar police station in Sheikhpura district, Santosh Kumar, two minor detainees, a Home Guard jawan, and two chowkidars (village watchmen).
Local residents rushed to the spot immediately after the accident and helped pull out the injured from the vehicle.
