Hyderabad, Aug. 25 -- The Commissioner's Task Force, Jubilee Hills Zone, along with local police, apprehended six persons allegedly posing as qualified doctors and conducting unauthorised medical practice at different locations here.
The raids were conducted on August 24 based on credible information. The accused allegedly treated patients without valid medical qualifications, including administering IV saline, injections and, in some cases, performing surgical stitches, a police statement said on Tuesday.
The persons were apprehended from clinics or first-aid centres in Madhura Nagar, Jubilee Hills, Film Nagar and Borabanda. The Task Force seized medicines, injections, syringes, saline bottles and medical equipment from the premises.
