Bengaluru, July 15 -- The Special Investigation Team (SIT) probing the sensational Dharmasthala 'mass burial' case has found no evidence to substantiate the allegations made by former sanitation worker CN Chinnayya and submitted its nearly 7,000-page final report before a Belthangady court.

The report, comprising thousands of pages of documentary, forensic and witness evidence, marks the culmination of a year-long investigation ordered by the Karnataka government following allegations of mass burials, sexual assaults, murders and an alleged cover-up that had triggered nationwide attention and demands for an independent probe.
