Hyderabad, Nov. 7 -- State-owned Singareni Collieries Company Limited (SCCL)'s innovative and community-oriented Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives have received appreciation from Coal India Limited (CIL) and its subsidiary companies at a national-level capacity building programme held in Kolkata.
The two-day programme on the sector-specific CSR framework for coal companies was jointly organised by Coal India Limited and the Indian Institute of Corporate Affairs (IICA), under the Ministry of Corporate Affairs, on November 4 and 5, with a focus on improving CSR planning, implementation, transparency and social impact assessment, the Mining company said in a release on Saturday.
