Kolhapur/Sindhudurgnagari, Aug. 20 -- The hearing and settlement of the claims and objections received after the survey process in the Special Intensive Revision of electoral rolls will be held from August 24 to October 22, 2026, the Election Commission has said.
During this period, all hearing processes should be carried out smoothly, taking care that no difficulties arise for the citizens and voters, said Election Commission of India Principal Secretaries S. B. Joshi and Ajoy Kumar.
In a review meeting held at 'Surangi' hall of the district collector's office in connection with the Special Intensive Revision (SIR), the Principal Secretary made various suggestions regarding this process.
