Gangtok, May 29 -- union Minister of Culture and Tourism Gajendra Singh Shekhawat on Friday attended a series of official engagements in Sikkim's Soreng district, focusing on tourism promotion, cultural preservation and developmental prospects of the region.
The union Minister attended a series of official engagements. According to sources in the Sikkim government, he participated in review meetings and interacted with local youth, tourism stakeholders and entrepreneurs to assess the district's tourism potential and emerging opportunities.
