Chandigarh, June 4 -- Two Sikh women wearing traditional Nihang attire and carrying falcons perched on their heads became the centre of attention at Sri Harmandir Sahib during the ongoing June 1984 martyrdom remembrance events in Amritsar.
As thousands of devotees from India and abroad visited the Golden Temple complex to pay homage during the annual commemorations, the unusual sight of the women accompanied by falcons drew large crowds.
Visitors were seen stopping to interact with them and take photographs, making them one of the most talked-about attractions during the observances.
