Chandigarh, June 18 -- : In a significant initiative aimed at strengthening the academic and professional prospects of Agniveers, the Sikh Regiment has entered into a partnership with Guru Nanak Dev University (GNDU), Amritsar, to facilitate higher education opportunities for serving personnel under the Agnipath scheme.
The Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), formally signed on June 16 by the Commandant of the Sikh Regimental Centre on behalf of the regiment, seeks to enable Agniveers to pursue educational qualifications alongside their military responsibilities.
