Bengaluru, Aug. 25 -- Former Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah on Tuesday urged Chief Minister DK Shivakumar to resolve the hurdles surrounding internal reservation among Scheduled Castes and ensure its implementation, asserting that he would continue to stand by the cause of social justice despite no longer heading the government.

Speaking at a seminar on internal reservation organised by the Samajika Nyayakkagi Ola Meesalati Horata Samiti here, Siddaramaiah said he had no executive authority now but remained committed to reservation and would take up the issue with the Chief Minister and the ministers concerned.
