Bengaluru, Nov. 21 -- Karnataka Assembly leader of Opposition R Ashoka on Friday warned that Chief Minister Siddaramaiah appears to be losing majority support within the Congress, describing the state government as divided and unstable, and cautioning that if the conflicts are not resolved, the party could face further splits in the next 15-30 days.

"Siddaramaiah has no majority now, so he has to resign. Otherwise, he is a one-party MLA, not representing the combined Congress. Within 15 days or one month, Congress could split because the war has reached its peak," he told media.
