Bengaluru, June 2 -- Karnataka Leader of the Opposition and senior BJP leader R. Ashoka on Tuesday launched a sharp attack on outgoing Chief Minister Siddaramaiah, alleging that he was leaving behind a financially distressed state while focusing on securing a political position for his son ahead of the leadership transition in Karnataka.
In a strongly worded statement titled "Karnataka on the Brink of Ruin: Siddaramaiah's Shameful Legacy", Ashoka alleged that the outgoing Chief Minister had pushed the state into a debt trap and was handing over a financially burdened administration to his successor, D. K. Shivakumar.
