Srinagar, Aug. 17 -- J&K Police's State Investigation Agency (SIA), Kashmir, on Monday said it had achieved a major breakthrough in its ongoing crackdown on narco-terrorism by arresting an absconding accused who had allegedly been evading arrest for nearly four years.
The arrested accused, identified as Manoj Kumar Bhat alias Pintu, a resident of Rehari Colony in Jammu's Bakshi Nagar, was wanted in connection with an FIR registered in 2022 for the alleged smuggling of narcotics from across the Line of Control (LoC) and the use of proceeds from drug trafficking to finance terrorist activities.
