Bhubaneswar, Sept. 5 -- Celebrated Hindustani vocalist and music luminary Vidushi Shubha Mudgal enthralled the audience with a soulful and evocative performance as the 32nd Guru Kelucharan Mohapatra (GKCM) Award Festival opened here on Saturday.
Organised by Srjan - Guru Kelucharan Mohapatra Odissi Nrityabasa in collaboration with Sri Sri University (SSU), Cuttack, the five-day cultural extravaganza commenced at Rabindra Mandap and will continue till September 9, featuring a rich line-up of classical music, dance and theatre performances.
This year's edition assumes special significance as it coincides with the celebrations marking the birth centenary of revered Odissi maestro Guru Kelucharan Mohapatra.
