Mumbai, July 1 -- Shriram Finance Ltd (SFL), one of India's largest retail-focused non-banking finance companies (NBFCs), has revised the interest rates on its fixed deposit (FD) schemes, offering higher returns across key tenures from July 2 in a move aimed at strengthening its retail deposit franchise.

Under the revised structure, the company has increased interest rates by up to 25 basis points across various deposit tenures. The sharpest increase has been made for deposits with maturities between 36 and 60 months, where the rate has been raised from 7.25 per cent to 7.50 per cent annually.
