Varanasi, March 24 -- On the occasion of the Shrimad Bhagavat Gyan Yajna Week, a grand ''Kalash Yatra'' (sacred pot procession) was organized on Tuesday, commencing from the Shri Kashidharmapith Rameshwar Math, located in the Assi area of Kashi.
The procession began at Rameshwar Math and proceeded all the way to Assi Ghat.
Women participated in the procession with deep devotion, carrying sacred pots (Kalash) upon their heads while chanting bhajans and kirtans, thereby infusing the entire atmosphere with a spirit of divine reverence.
