Jammu, June 3 -- The Jammu Municipal Corporation has formulated a comprehensive sanitation plan to maintain cleanliness along major roads, market areas, pilgrimage routes and public spaces during the annual Shri Amarnath Yatra 2026, starting from July 3.
To strengthen mechanised cleaning operations, a fleet of specialised sanitation vehicles has been deployed across the city.
Officials said that the fleet includes three compact road-sweeping machines that vacuum litter, dust and other waste materials directly from road surfaces.
