Dubai, July 6 -- Spinner Shree Charani was the lone Indian named in the Women's T20World Cup 2026 Team of the Tournament announced by the ICC on Monday.

The left-arm spinner earned her place after finishing as the tournament's leading wicket-taker with 14 scalps in just five matches - the second-highest tally ever recorded at a single Women's T20 World Cup.

Shree Charani claimed at least two wickets in every match she played, with her best figures of 4/19 helping India secure victory over Netherlands in the group stage. The Indian cricket team failed to make the semi-finals of the Women's T20 World Cup 2026.
