Pune, June 7 -- All authorised and licensed shops and establishments are legally permitted to operate 24 hours a day, Pune Police Commissioner Amitesh Kumar clarified on Sunday.
Speaking after a special coordination meeting with traders' organisations, Kumar said, however, that stalls, handcart vendors, hawkers, paan shops, and similar businesses are allowed to operate until 10 pm.
