Bengaluru, Sept. 10 -- Karnataka Deputy Chief Minister DK Shivakumar today accused the Enforcement Directorate (ED) of targeting Congress party legislators following the arrest of MLA Satish Krishna Sail in an ongoing laundering case.
Shivakumar, addressing reporters, criticized the arrest of Satish Sail, claiming it was unnecessary and politically motivated, and alleged, "They are focusing solely on Congress MLAs and going to great lengths to target us."His comments came shortly after the ED's Bengaluru Zonal Office arrested Sail, the MLA from Karwar Assembly constituency, late yesterday night after a daylong interrogation.
