Belfast, June 26 -- India's Shivam Dube celebrated his 33rd birthday in style on Friday by becoming only the fourth Indian cricketer to claim a wicket in a T20 International on his birthday during the opening match against Ireland here.
Introduced into the attack in the eighth over, the allrounder struck with his very first delivery, dismissing Benjamin Calitz and giving India another breakthrough after the hosts had made a steady start.
With the wicket, Dube joined an exclusive list of Indian players to take a T20I wicket on their birthday. The rare club features Yuvraj Singh, Ravindra Jadeja and Kuldeep Yadav, making Dube the latest Indian to achieve the unique milestone.
