Bengaluru, March 13 -- In a high-stakes political maneuver ahead of the Odisha Rajya Sabha elections, Congress has shifted its MLAs to a private resort in Bengaluru, sparking intense speculation and media attention.

The move, widely dubbed "resort politics," is aimed at preventing cross-voting and keeping the party's legislators together at a critical moment.

The MLAs arrived from Bhubaneswar late on Thursday night and were received at Kempegowda International Airport by aides of Karnataka Deputy Chief Minister and state Congress president DK Shivakumar, who is personally supervising the operation.
