Bengaluru, Oct. 10 -- Karnataka Congress leader DK Shivakumar today accused the BJP of prioritising politics over the development of Bengaluru and the Greater Bengaluru Authority (GBA).

Shivakumar said, "BJP wants to do politics. They do not believe in serving the people and are not interested in the development of Bengaluru. They have not even approached the Prime Minister or sought financial assistance from the Centre, despite the fact that we contribute significantly to Delhi through GST and other taxes. People have given them the mandate to come to the GBA, but they are not showing up."He further added that some opposition leaders have expressed intentions to dissolve the GBA, questioning their commitment to governance.
