Bengaluru, Aug. 11 -- A week after expanding his Cabinet, Karnataka Chief Minister D K Shivakumar is facing an internal logjam over portfolio allocation, with senior ministers lobbying for key departments even as the government prepares for the Monsoon session of the legislature.
The delay in distributing portfolios has brought the competing demands within the ruling Congress into sharper focus, with several ministers seeking departments considered crucial for their political and administrative influence.
