Bengaluru, April 17 -- Karnataka Deputy Chief Minister DK Shivakumar on Friday said he had no personal role in the disciplinary action taken by the Indian National Congress against certain minority leaders in the state, asserting that the decisions were taken by the party high command.

Clarifying his position amid the ongoing controversy, Shivakumar stated that the action against leaders was not driven by any individual but was based on reports and inputs submitted to the central leadership. He maintained that organisational discipline is paramount and that decisions are taken collectively at the party level rather than by any single leader.
