Mumbai, May 17 -- Shiv Sena (UBT) has flayed the central government over the NEET-UG 2026 paper leak scam and alleged that the deaths of three students by suicide was the result of a "corrupt system".
In a post shared on X, Shiv Sena (UBT) alleged that the scandal and the resulting student suicides reflected failures in the existing system.
The NEET-UG 2026 examination, conducted on May 3 for more than 22 lakh aspirants, was later cancelled by the National Testing Agency (NTA) following allegations of a major paper leak.
Reports regarding student suicides linked to examination stress and uncertainty over the re-examination intensified the controversy across several states.
