Shiv Pratap Shukla sworn in as Telangana Governor at Lok Bhavan

Hyderabad, March 11 -- Shiv Pratap Shukla was sworn in as the Governor of Telangana at a ceremony held at the Lok Bhavan on Wednesday.

Telangana High Court Chief Justice Aparesh Kumar Singh administered the oath of office, while Special Chief Secretary Dana Kishore, on behalf of Chief Secretary K Ramakrishna Rao, read out the Warrant of Appointment issued by President Droupadi Murmu.

Shukla took the oath of office in Telugu.

Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy and other dignitaries congratulated the new Governor and presented him with a bouquet on the occasion.
