Mumbai, Feb. 23 -- : Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde turned emotional in the Legislative Council on Monday while recalling memories of Ajit Dada, saying his passing felt like the departure of a provider for millions, leaving countless people orphaned.

"Dada, the people's court has proven that many of the decisions you took in politics were absolutely right. But your decision to bid farewell to this world was wrong. Please take it back and return to us," Shinde said while paying tribute.
