Mumbai, Oct. 19 -- A political controversy has erupted in Maharashtra after Ram Purnekar, son of slain Shiv Sena (UBT) leader Pradeep Purnekar, criticised Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde for visiting Bollywood actor Tiger Shroff following an attack on the actor's vehicle while allegedly failing to visit the family of the murdered leader in Thane.
Following the Sunday night attack in Juhu, in which three persons were injured, Shinde visited Tiger Shroff's residence in Bandra to express his support and assure the actor's family of strict legal action against those responsible.
