Dharashiv, June 23 -- In a significant political development, Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister and Shiv Sena leader Eknath Shinde has dissolved all district-level committees of Shiv Sena and its affiliated organizations in Dharashiv, just hours after rebel MP Omraje Nimbalkar formally joined his faction in Mumbai on Monday.
According to a statement issued by party secretary Sanjay More, the existing executive committees of Shiv Sena, Yuva Sena, Mahila Sena, and other affiliated organizations in Dharashiv district have been dissolved on Shinde's instructions.
The move is being viewed as an effort to strengthen Nimbalkar's position within the party and give him a greater role in rebuilding the organization in the district.
