Thane, June 3 -- Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde has expressed confidence that all candidates of the Mahayuti alliance will win the upcoming Legislative Council elections, citing the alliance's comfortable majority.

Addressing concerns over rebellion within the alliance in the Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar constituency, Shinde said that senior Shiv Sena leader Abdul Sattar would adhere to alliance norms and support the official Mahayuti candidate.

The issue arose after Sattar's son filed his nomination for the Legislative Council election, triggering dissatisfaction within Shiv Sena ranks.
