Shimla, March 1 -- Shimla Police have launched a manhunt for a Nepali national allegedly involved in the murder of his nephew in Theog subdivision, who reportedly fled after committing the crime.
The accused, identified as Suresh, is suspected of killing his relative, Dhani Ram, in Jarai village under Theog police station limits.
The case came to light after orchard owner Jagdish, who had provided accommodation to the family for agricultural work, found one of the rooms in his orchard dera locked and Dhani Ram lying dead inside today morning.
Following the incident, Suresh, along with his wife and five children, reportedly fled from the spot during the night. An FIR under Section 103(1) (302 IPC) has been registered.
