Shimla, June 23 -- Shimla police have solved a 'blind' murder case involving the killing of a 77-year-old woman in Rohru subdivision of Shimla district in Himachal Pradesh and arrested three accused within a week of the crime.

Additional Superintendent of Police Shimla (City) Mehar Panwar on Tuesday confirming the arrest of three accused said that Geeta Devi (77), a resident of Shalash Dogri village in Rohru area of Shimla district, was found dead in her house on June 16 under suspicious circumstances.

Preliminary investigation indicated that unidentified persons had allegedly entered the house with the intention of theft and murdered the elderly woman.
