Shimla, March 16 -- Shimla Urban constituency MLA, Harish Janartha, on Monday, flagged off a free ambulance donated to Deen Dayal Upadhyay Hospital, Shimla in Himachal Pradesh by Ujjivan Small Finance Bank.
The ambulance was formally dispatched from the hospital premises. The ambulance service is expected to benefit patients and elderly residents of the city by facilitating easier transportation to and from the hospital.
On the occasion, the Chief Medical Officer, Dr. Yash Pal Ranta, also apprised the MLA about the deployment of doctors at the hospital and various primary health centres in the city, along with other issues related to healthcare services.
