Greater Noida, Feb. 22 -- Former India opener Shikhar Dhawan has been retained as a marquee player by the UP Brij Stars for Season 2 of the Big Cricket League (BCL), the franchise announced.
Dhawan, who was one of the biggest attractions in the inaugural edition, will once again feature prominently in the tournament, bringing his international experience and star appeal to the UP-based franchise.
The announcement coincided with a major personal milestone for Dhawan, who got married to his long-time partner in an intimate ceremony attended by close friends and family.
