Baramati, June 25 -- Amid speculation that some MLAs and MPs from the Nationalist Congress Party (Sharad Pawar faction) could join the ruling Mahayuti allies following the success of "Operation Tiger," party founder Sharad Pawar has firmly dismissed such reports, asserting that not a single legislator or parliamentarian from his party would defect.
Speaking to reporters here on Thursday, Pawar said the party is functioning cohesively and that rumours of a split or defections have no factual basis. He reiterated that every elected representative of the party continues to stand firmly with the organization.
