Dharamshala, March 18 -- Former Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister and ex-Union Minister Shanta Kumar has criticised the Congress-led Sukhu government's recent decision to withdraw cabinet rank from certain leaders, calling it a short-term political move rather than a serious effort to address the state's financial crisis.
He said that while reducing government expenditure is essential in the current economic situation, such measures should not be limited to temporary political strategies. "The decision appears to be only for six months. Will the state's financial crisis end after that?" he questioned.
