Kangra, Aug. 30 -- Former Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister and former union Minister Shanta Kumar lauded the performance of the Indian Railway Finance Corporation (IRFC), saying the government-run corporation has created a new record by earning a post-tax profit of Rs 7,000 crore.
Shanta Kumar said at a time when most government corporations were reportedly running into losses and only a few were showing profits, the Railway Finance Corporation had set an exemplary record of financial performance and profitability.
