Gorakhpur, May 3 -- Shankaracharya Swami Avimukteshwarananda Saraswati of Jyotirpeeth began his 81-day ' Gau Seva Yatra' from Gorakhpur on Sunday morning. The program began with prayers at the Bharat Mata Temple in Sahara Estate.
Swami Avimukteshwarananda said, "We haven't come here for Yogi Adityanath. This place is named after cow protection. It's the place of penance of Guru Gorakhnath, so we're starting our journey from here.
